Joint statement from Councillors Cormack and Williams, regarding the coastal path between Coppet Hall & Wisemans Bridge
To all residents and business owners. This is a brief update on the tunnels. Councillor Cormack & I , attended a meeting this week onsite at Coppet Hall to discuss the current state of play regarding the most recent land slip onto the path. PCC have already met on site with contractors and further meetings will be taking place over the coming weeks. It is hoped that vegetation will be removed to fully access the works needed. An Engineering geologist will be present to access and proceed with a design plan. Alec & I will be in regular contact with PCC on this and will be giving further updates, once we know more details from officers and contractors.
