Happy New Year from Admin!
As 2023 draws to a close, the Admin team have been reflecting on another positive year in the life of this group. We’ve got some stats for you that we hope you’ll find interesting.
In the last year, there have been

67% of our membership are female, 31% are male and 2% are ‘custom’

2,666 of our members are from Saundersfoot, Tenby and Kilgetty 39 are from USA, 17 from Australia, 12 from Spain and 11 from Germany

There have been 259,7671 visits to our Saundersfoot Connect website and 32,685 visits to our events website!
What the above tells us should come as no surprise – that what makes this group so fabulously, stupendously, marvellously special is YOU – several thousand of ‘YOU’!
Together we have enjoyed some lovely events – Coffee & Connect, the fantastic MacMillan Coffee Morning and the Christmas Choir workshop, to name just a few. Together we have donated to our local food bank until the collection tables were straining under the weight, and we’ve helped reunite owners with an amazing assortment of lost items!
Along the way we’ve supported others by donating to local charities, promoting village events organised by other groups, and performing all sorts of acts of kindness, big and small.
And Saundersfoot Connect is more than a Facebook Group – we have an awesome website where you can find out what’s on in the village, as well as enjoying the stunning views from our webcam. Once again we have proved that this is a true community group, always striving to be helpful and informative (and fun!)
