Message from Cllr Phil Baker

Dear Residents,

Further to recent posts and some confusion due to the fast moving situation for the age 70 to 74 vaccine clinics, I wanted to clarify the following important information about the next vaccine clinics at The Regency Hall.

A “walk in” Covid 19 vaccine clinic was successfully held today – Friday 5th February 2021 from 9am to 12noon.  A huge thank you to all involved in making this run smoothly.

A second “walk in” clinic will be held on Tuesday 9th February 2021 from 9am to 12noon.

All patients with their surname beginning with the letters: I, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q & R and who are registered at Saundersfoot Medical Centre.
The third “walk in” clinic will be held on Tuesday 9th February 2021 from 1pm to 4pm.

All patients with their surname beginning with the letters: S, T, U, V, W, X, Y & Z and who are registered at Saundersfoot Medical Centre.

All these clinics are for the Group aged 70 – 74 years inclusive only.

These are “walk in” clinics and there are no fixed appointment times.

SMC will not be calling you, but Hywel Dda University Health Board have offered assistance and you may receive a call from them, this will confirm the clinic start and finish times – this will not be an individual appointment time.

Please pass on this message by word of mouth and social media, as we need your help and support, SMC are working to make the vaccine available to residents as quickly as it arrives in Saundersfoot.

The Medical Centre is still operating as normal, this whole process relies on hard work, good will and volunteer help.

Residents who are age 75 to 79 will be invited to Tenby Leisure Centre, by letter, by Hywel Dda.

Residents who are Group 4 – clinically vulnerable and in receipt of a Welsh Government shielding letter – will be invited by letter, to a vaccination appointment, by Hywel Dda.

Nobody will be missed, there will be a revisit to the Group lists by both SMC and Hywel Dda UHB.
